Fo Guang Shan Malaysia invited CodeSpace to speak on agentic AI at its Three Good Deeds Leadership Camp in Jenjarom, Selangor — a programme that brings together youth aged 12 to 18 to build character, confidence, and leadership. As part of the camp, Carl from CodeSpace led a hands-on session showing participants how to turn their own ideas into real, working apps using AI.

About the Organiser
Fo Guang Shan (佛光山) is a global Humanistic Buddhist organisation founded in 1967 by Venerable Master Hsing Yun, with a long-established presence in Malaysia through its temples, cultural centres, and community programmes.
Guided by Master Hsing Yun's teaching of "Do Good Deeds, Speak Good Words, Think Good Thoughts" (做好事、说好话、存好心), Fo Guang Shan Malaysia has, over the decades, built a strong tradition of youth development — running camps, training programmes, and community initiatives that instil kindness, service, and leadership in the next generation.
The 三好领袖培训营 continues that tradition, and CodeSpace received a certificate of appreciation from Fo Guang Shan Malaysia in recognition of its contribution to the camp's leadership development programme.
Session Covered
The session was structured as a full mini build-cycle — from understanding what an AI agent is, to walking away with a real link participants could show their mentors and friends.
Participants were introduced to what an AI agent is and how it differs from a regular chatbot — how Claude can reason, plan, and take action on its own to complete a task from start to finish.

In small groups, participants brainstormed what kind of app or landing page they wanted to build — picking a problem they cared about and shaping it into a simple, real idea worth building.

With Claude as their AI agent, participants got hands-on — prompting, iterating, and watching their idea take shape into a real, working page, guided step-by-step by the CodeSpace team.

Once built, each project was deployed to a public Claude link — giving every participant a real, shareable URL they could send straight to their mentors and friends.

To close the session, participants presented their finished projects to the room — practicing the confidence and communication that are core to the camp's leadership goals.
